You don't know what kind of people are on the recieving end of your messagesA recent report has said that people search community MySpace, has more than 17,000 members that are registered sex offenders. This comes as bad news to anyone that is searching for online love or companionship. Parents should also be aware of these numbers if their child uses MySpace. It is no secret that meeting people online can be dangerous, just ask the numerous people who have met someone that is not who they seemed on the internet. Another disturbing fact is that Connecticut has 264 registered sex offenders that have MySpace accounts. I think MySpace should ban anyone with this kind of background to help make the site safer.
