meet people





So where can you meet people nowadays?  Especially, how can you meet people that you share common interests with and common ideas about social issues that are facing us today?

A fun and interesting way to meet people, if you happen to be socially and politically active, is to get involved with a political campaign of a candidate that you feel would do a good job, if elected.

Many people involved with the political process are bright and upbeat and have a passionate commitment to bettering life for everybody in the country.  If that is your desire, get involved.  You can meet people that share your hopes and dreams for a better country.

I was involved in the Kerry Campaign in 2004 and I met many nice people there and friendships have grown from that involvement.  Now, I'm already happily married, so I wasn't on the lookout for a partner, but I did notice quite a few single women involved in the campaign.  If you want to meet people, maybe a special person, and you have that activist mentality, get involved in a political campaign.  It just might change your life.
